Prior to his stint at Radico, Sinha built a commendable work profile as the Managing Director of Whyte and Mackay India Ltd, Executive Director and CEO of BDA (now Allied Blenders & Distillers Ltd), Director and CEO of Golden Tobacco Ltd., and Managing Director of Play Win (Zee Group). Long before these, Sinha had been working for Shaw Wallace Distilleries Limited, a company he joined in 1983 as a management trainee. Amar Sinha’s immeasurable contribution towards the growth of the corporate sector has not gone unnoticed. Between 2015-16, Sinha received the Rajeev Gandhi Excellence Award and the Make in India Excellence Award for being the most enterprising CEO and a management expert in diverse industries. More recently, he was recognised as the ‘Marketing Meister’ for his celebrated body of work in the field of brands and marketing at the BARC’s global business symposium.
