Vaishali Shah Founder and Partner, Anggel’s Share Vaishali Shah began her career at a young age when she got involved in managing her family’s retail shops during her vacations, which gave her valuable insights into consumer preferences and buying patterns. Vaishali’s passion for entrepreneurship led her to pursue an MBA in marketing after completing her graduation. During her corporate career spanning from 2003 to 2019, Vaishali worked for renowned companies in the alcobev industry such as Bisleri, Red Bull and Bacardi. She handled key accounts nationally and managed markets in Maharashtra, Goa, Chandigarh, Punjab, and East India. Vaishali’s passion for spirits and wines began with her exposure to the industry. Over the years, she cultivated her palate and gained extensive knowledge about cocktails and spirits through collaborations with bartenders and brand ambassadors. Her experiences in the industry, including traveling to Asia’s and the world’s best bars, solidified her commitment to the beverage industry. “My work takes me to the best dining places, raging parties, sipping lots of cocktails and that balances my work. Choose your work wisely.” In 2019, inspired by friends and industry contacts, Vaishali embarked on a new journey as an entrepreneur. Together with Gaurav, Yohan and Nikhil, she cofounded Anggel’s Share, initially focusing on spirits. However, the company evolved to include wines as well. Throughout her career, Vaishali has achieved notable milestones such as being named the best salesperson of the year at Bacardi and being selected as one of the “20 Best minds and managers in Bacardi”. 116 |
