Pushpa Bector Senior Executive Director, DLF Retail As a senior executive director of a formidable real estate and luxury brand, Pushpa Bector has set a standard for many to follow in her footsteps. She has played a significant role in shaping the retail landscape of India. Through the launch of the initial DLF Malls starting with DLF Promenade more than a decade ago, Pushpa was amongst the first few to introduce to the discerning customer a retail experience that is not defined by a transactional exchange. Pushpa has led DLF’s retail portfolio by pre-empting global industry trends. She began her career at Oberoi Hotels and Resorts before going on to work for Jubilant FoodWorks as Marketing Head for Domino’s Pizza. Her initial experiences in the hospitality industry provided her with the knowledge she would later use at DLF. In her current role as a Senior Executive Director, she is responsible for providing executive leadership and management of DLF Retail Malls (including Premium & Luxury) across marketing, leasing, finance, and operations. A Harvard Alumni, she is passionate about music and cinema. While she enjoys her time in the boardroom, “Stay passionate, remain resilient, and seize every opportunity to make a positive impact on the world around you!” she also cherishes quality time spent with her children and family. Her favourite holiday destinations include Australia and Kerala, and her favourite ride is her BMW 3 series.
