Kapil Chopra Founder and CEO, Postcard Hotels Kapil Chopra founded The Postcard Hotel – a collection of intimate luxury hotels and experientials, back in 2018. Despite being a fairly new launch, the company quickly gained traction during the pandemic as people opted for getaways to smaller, high-end hotels in the country. The hotel chain’s bookings have risen 100 per cent month-onmonth compared to 2019, with celebrities and CEOs opting for the Postcard Hotels as their preferred brand of hotels in Goa. Chopra previously served as the President of Oberoi Hotels and Resorts. Under his direction, the brand won several awards by leading publications for its impeccable hospitality. Manish Mehrotra Manish Mehrotra is a stalwart in the Indian culinary industry, with his brand Indian Accent one of the most critically acclaimed restaurants in the country. Having started his career in Mumbai as part of Ananda Solomon’s team at the Thai Pavilion of the Taj Hotels, Mehrotra joined Old World Hospitality in 2000. Flooring the guests at Oriental Octopus with his culinary skills and charm, he has since spent over 22 years with Old World Hospitality, opening several restaurants for the group. Manish is extremely passionate about his craft, making his knowledge of ingredients and their origins immense. He is an inspiration to aspiring young chefs today.
