Renu Oberoi Luxury Jewellery Designer A commerce graduate, Mumbai-based Renu Oberoi studied fashion design at the London College of Fashion. She felt the tug to do something more meaningful in life when she turned to jewellery designing because she loved the idea of women with tasteful jewellery. Specialising in bridal, cocktail and pret jewellery, Renu Oberoi opened her own boutique in Mumbai this year. and carved a niche for herself with her designs. Oberoi believes that Indian brides are experimental and are willing to incorporate versatile designs in their wedding jewellery. Richa Singh Currently working as the Managing Director of the Natural Diamond Council in India and the Middle East, Richa Singh has an impressive track record of over 24 years in marketing and general management. Her career spans varied departments such as advertising, branding, category building of beauty and luxury products. An entrepreneur at heart, she has a passion for developing brands from scratch. Starting her journey in advertising at JWT, Singh focused on consumer insights, creative strategy, development and execution. Post this, she worked with L’Oréal helping build the brand, scaling up the business across an array of segments, with a strong vision to create memories for consumers, all for a period of 14 years. She joined the Natural Diamond Council (NDC) in 2017 and has since been working closely with the industry and creating an aspirational dream around natural diamonds for consumers. She has been awarded the ET Inspiring Women’s Awards 2021 as the ‘Visionary in the Luxury Sector’, and won the ‘Super Achiever’ Award for Indian Television’s “Luxury is all about being authentic, being true to yourself, doing what you want, when you want it.” Wonder Women 2023.
