The latest Dubai restaurants to feature in the Michelin guide

Dubai’s vibrant and diverse gastronomy scene has once again taken center stage with the unveiling of the third edition of the annual MICHELIN Guide Dubai. In a glittering ceremony held at the newly opened One&Only One Za’abeel, the prestigious awards celebrated the city’s finest dining establishments, highlighting the remarkable growth and diversity of Dubai’s culinary landscape. This year, the guide features an impressive 106 restaurants, marking a significant 53.6% increase since its inception in 2022. This growth underscores Dubai’s emergence as a global gastronomic destination, attracting food enthusiasts from around the world.

Among the standout moments was the elevation of Row on 45, which became the fourth restaurant in Dubai to receive the coveted two MICHELIN Stars. This achievement places it alongside Il Ristorante-Niko Romito, STAY by Yannick Alléno, and Trèsind Studio, all of which have retained their prestigious two-star status. The 2024 edition also includes 15 one MICHELIN Star restaurants, with four new entries making their mark on the city’s dining scene.

Indian cuisine continues to shine brightly in Dubai, with 11 Indian restaurants making the list. Notably, Revelry, an Indian tapas bar, joins the Bib Gourmand category, further establishing the influence and innovation of Indian gastronomy in the city. Other notable mentions include Trèsind Studio and avatāra, maintaining their two-star and one-star status respectively, and Indya by Vineet, which continues to be recognised in the Bib Gourmand category.

The diversity of Dubai’s culinary offerings is showcased by the 35 different types of cuisine represented across the 106 restaurants. This selection highlights the city’s commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences, catering to a wide range of tastes and preferences. With over 13,000 restaurants and eateries catering to nearly 200 nationalities, Dubai ranks second globally in restaurant density and is recognised as one of the top 10 cities for food enthusiasts.

The emirate’s culinary prowess is further evidenced by various accolades, including being named the No.1 global destination for a third consecutive year at the Tripadvisor Travellers’ Choice Awards 2024. The annual Dubai Food Festival, now in its 11th edition, also highlights the city’s dedication to its gastronomic culture. As the MICHELIN Guide continues to spotlight the best in dining, Dubai’s upward trajectory as a gastronomic haven remains unstoppable.

Two Michelin Stars

Il Ristorante-Niko Romito

Nestled within the luxurious Bulgari Resort Hotel, Il Ristorante-Niko Romito provides a sophisticated and chic dining experience.
