Faberge launches new collection with its first-ever featured designer, James Ganh
Luxury jewellery Fabergé has launched a new high jewellery collection in a partnership with its first-ever featured designer, London-based jeweller James Ganh. This capsule collection was inspired by the nature and colours of summer’s floral blooms. It embodies Fabergé’s ethos of ‘A life of colour’.
James Ganh is a Central Saint Martins graduate. Prior to starting his own business in 2014, he used to work for Fabergé. “The romantic and loving surprises of Fabergé creations spoke to my heart and inspired my work, and this is evident throughout the new capsule collection,” said James Ganh.

Peter Carl Fabergé was a pioneer as he introduced the concept of workmasters in 1882. As independent craftsmen, they had full freedom to develop their own characteristic style. Each of their finished pieces was approved by Peter Carl or one of his esteemed deputies. Today, Fabergé still works with a small number of them. In order to expand this tradition in a contemporary way, the concept ‘Featured Designer’ was introduced.
For paying homage to Peter Carl Fabergé, James has painted the pieces using a stunning colour palette of gemstones. This includes blue, pink and yellow sapphires, emeralds, rubies, tanzanites, aquamarines, diamonds, amethysts, and tourmalines, amongst others. These gems have been partnered with less conventional materials, including carved rock crystal.

The pieces are quite versatile. These transformable jewellery pieces can be worn in multiple ways. Earrings can be attached as statement drops on co-ordinating necklaces, brooches can be worn as bracelets, and pendants can become rings. The collection ranges from $33,150 to $317,460.
