From Rahul Mishra unveiling his first architectural venture to Levi’s appointing Alia Bhatt as its global face, the week in luxury was anything but quiet. Here’s your quick catch-up on everything that made headlines.

Rahul Mishra unveils his first architectural project, Aatman

Rahul Mishra, celebrated couturier and Paris Haute Couture Week regular, unveils his first architectural project, Aatman, at 6,000 feet in Uttarakhand. This regenerative mountain residence marks the debut of Rahul Mishra Spaces, where couture’s philosophy of craft and permanence becomes architecture. Built entirely by hand without harming a single tree, every door, staircase, and piece of furniture is crafted on site by local artisans, blending beauty with livelihoods and cultural continuity. Its interiors carry the human touch of their makers- an architectural reflection of the slow, thoughtful processes of Mishra’s ateliers in Paris and New Delhi.

Designed on passive house principles, Aatman needs no air-conditioning or heating. Solar-powered, rainwater-harvesting, and organic-farming systems make it self-sustaining while coexisting with local wildlife. Floor-to-ceiling glass and open layouts blur indoor and outdoor spaces, creating a living dialogue with the forest. “This is luxury that gives back,” Mishra says.
