With multiple new launches — including some of the most awaited drops of the year — get ready to splurge on your favourite kicks for the upcoming seasons.
So far, June 2022 has seen a slew of highly anticipated sneaker releases. While Nike has been making headlines for a number of new launches, New Balance and Reebok are not far behind with their inventive ideas and eye-catching features. The world of sneaker drops can be a tricky place to navigate, but we’re here to help. Here are the newest sneaker drops for the week.
New Balance 550 in mint

The 33-year-old New Balance 550 sneaker has become one of the most-coveted silhouettes of the last two years, and the brand continues to release new iterations. With an upcoming minty colour accent, the design is just what we need to refresh our ensemble. The titular mint green flair, will ensure that all footwear enthusiasts divert their attention to the next 550 given its simple, but fresh look.
Air Jordan 1 Mid Olive Toe

Another iconic style, the Nike Air Jordan is a coveted sneaker style, inevitably part of every sneakerhead’s collection. The new version features a canvas upper and overlays with white, olive and black on the side. Sleek in appearance, this makes for the ideal pick with slouchy denims.
Jacquemus X Nike Air Humara

Owing to the recently launched Jacquemus X Nike collection (launched June 28) a new sneaker has made it to the forefront. The sleek sports collaboration heroes a muted colour palette and features a series of sneakers in the collection including Jacquemus’ own interpretation of the Humara. Tones of white and brown making the design of the sneaker unisex and extremely appealing.
Kanghyuk X Reedbook Premier Road Modern Mid Blue

In 2020, Reebok teamed up with KANGHYUK to introduce the Premier Road Modern, and two years later the Korean label launching the Premier Road Modern Mid sneaker — in two monochromatic colours — blue and black. The new Premier Road Modern Mid, reimaged by Kanghyuk is a modern take on utilitarian wear, an experimentation with tone and textures. The Kanghyuk x Reebok Premier Road Modern Mid Blue sneaker will be globally available beginning July 1.

Futuristic in design the Jordan Zion 2 has a new signature sneaker, the Hope Diamond”colorway that represents an unfaltering desire to win. Prism-inspired graphics adorn the collars, heel overlays and the rear ends of the midsoles to mimic the look of a diamond while the rest of the shoe panels are done up in a crisp white. Launcing on June 30.
