Currently, deliveries are being made to Khar, Bandra and Santacruz between 12:30 pm to 3:00 am and from Fridays to Sundays, they are delivering till 4.00 am. Chef Sarita Pereira  who also runs the Lovefools Dinner Lab, is offering 2 – 8 course celebration meals delivered to your doorstep. These are perfect for intimate gatherings this Diwali. 
They have a Diwali Special menu (Rs1,650 – Rs1,950)Hummshuka with baked vanilla peaches & rose flavoured bazlama bread, cottage cheese & spinach gnocchi with Benaras flavour influenced sauce with Kashmiri saffron rice and a classic tiramisu with a boondhi ladoo twist for dessert. They also have chicken and fish options.  
One other set is filled with Old School Romance – a meal of Tijuana tacos and olive oil tossed linguine is paired with dark chocolate and milk chocolate eclairs filled with ganache. 
Pereira follows a slow food manifesto and has trained under celebrated Chef Nandu Jubany in Spain. The meals can be customised to suit vegan, Jain and other dietary restrictions.

The Mexican Box 

There is a dearth of places that serve authentic Mexican food in Mumbai. The Mexican Kitchen, which launched in October, fills this void. Started by Shaan and Meghna Mehta, the kitchen has an extensive menu, offering a mix of traditional and experimental dishes. First up, their Guacamole, is made with Hass avocados. They also have Mango and Jalapeños; Exotic Berries; Crispy Bacon Bits; or Crab Meat versions of guacamole. Their DIY Nacho kit, Tacos, Enchiladas, Quesadillas, Fajitas, Chimichangas and Burritos complete the Mexican experience. They also have 9 salsas and dips as well as healthy and vegan options.

Basque cheesecakes were basking in the limelight during the lockdown. The burnt cheesecake which has a bittersweet flavour, was first created in 1990 by chef Santiago Rivera of La Viña in San Sebastian, Spain. Ayesha Nallaseth, who has 13 years of experience in the hospitality industry, baked her first basque cheesecake  for the first time during the lockdown in June. The result was such a hit that she converted it into a full-time business. She currently offers three flavours – Madagascar Vanilla BeanLemon and Salted Caramel.

Pies are perfect as meals or as a snack, shares founder Chef Aditi Goel in an Instagram post. She is also a food stylist and a hospitality consultant and has worked with top chefs like Gary Mehigan, Vikas Khanna, Ranveer Brar, Kunal Kapur, and Vineet Bhatia to name a few.
The menu includes vegetarian and non-vegetarian savoury pies (like Mac n Cheese, Spinach, Cheese & Corn, Chicken stroganoff, Butter Chicken, Goan Chorizo pie) as well as dessert pies for those with a sweet tooth. Orders need to be placed well in advance.
