What’s cooking in Delhi NCR’s culinary scene right now

Delhi NCR has never been short on places to eat, but lately, the city’s dining scene seems to be opening new doors faster than we can keep up. From tasting-led concepts and immersive bars to high-energy restaurants that are becoming the capital’s most sought-after reservations, choosing where to book next has become a classic case of too many good options. Read on to see what’s brewing in Delhi NCR’s culinary scene.

Cin Cin, Gurugram

CinCin has officially brought a generous slice of la dolce vita to Gurugram, marking the Mumbai favourite’s first foray into North India. Launched by Aditya Birla New Age Hospitality, the 110-cover restaurant sits on the Golf Course Road and channels the warmth of an Italian piazza featuring an open pizzeria, coffee bar dubbed Cincineria, and a cocktail programme inspired by the Italian philosophy of sprezzatura. On the menu are hand-rolled pastas, Neapolitan pizzas, cicchetti-style small plates, and indulgent classics like tiramisu, making every meal feel like a mini escape to the Amalfi Coast.

Daryaganj Gold, Aerocity

Seven years after opening its first restaurant in Aerocity, Daryaganj returns to its original neighbourhood with Daryaganj Gold, its first flagship-format restaurant in India, following the debut of the concept in Bangkok earlier this year. Designed as a more expansive and immersive expression of the brand, the 150-plus seater builds on the nostalgic North Indian flavours that made Daryaganj a household name, while introducing an exclusive Gold menu that reimagines familiar classics through a contemporary lens. You can expect a dedicated chaat selection alongside signature highlights like the 24 Karat Mutton Biryani, Daryaganj Daulat Ki Chaat and more. PS: Arrive hungry!

Mestizo, Vasant Vihar

Mestizo is where you go to experience a good Latin American experience in Delhi. By day, it serves as an elegant setting for business lunches and leisurely meals, with a menu that traverses Mexican, Peruvian, Argentinian, Brazilian, and Spanish cuisines with favourites like tableside guacamole, house-made tortillas, Nikkei-inspired plates and live-fire grills. But the bar is where the magic happens. The Gin & Tea and Pisco Del Sol stole the spotlight for us, but the menu is also complemented by a thoughtful wine list featuring labels such as Argentine Malbec and Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon. The place also offers artist-led Sip & Paint weekends, live music, and a vibe that’s unmatched.

Mido Social House, Kailash Colony

Another addition to south Delhi’s dining scene is Mido Social House, a premium European concept that reimagines continental dining as a shareable experience, bringing people together around the table. The menu isn’t your typical geography-bound European cuisine; think dishes like Patatas Bravas 2.0, Harissa Pulled Chicken Borek, Lamb Adana and Baked Vodka Rigatoni. The bar programme, called ‘The Lunar Ritual’ features a moon-inspired cocktail journey divided into three phases – The Waxing Ritual, The Full Illumination and The Waning Eclipse. If you’re going on a date, you’re in for a ride.

Kimikai, Gurugram

Perched in Gurugram’s One Horizon Center, Kimikai is where Japanese precision meets a distinctly contemporary sense of theatre. The restaurant’s name draws from the Japanese word for “curiosity,” and that spirit runs through every detail here; from the sculptural interiors and moody lighting to a menu that moves between robata-grilled dishes, sushi selections, and out-of-the-box cocktails. If the early buzz is anything to go by, this is the reservation everyone in NCR is trying to secure.

Nadoo, GK3

At Nadoo, Delhi gets to experience South Indian cuisine at its best. Helmed by Chef Shri Bala and restaurateur Sahil Sambhi, the restaurant takes diners far beyond the city’s familiar dosa-idli shorthand, spotlighting the culinary depth of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana with dishes like kosambari, Bengaluru-style masala puri, curry leaf lobster and Chettinad-style raan, while a dedicated kaapi bar and cocktail programme rooted in southern ingredients add another layer of storytelling. With earthy textures, brass accents and subtle nods to the South, the interiors feel deeply welcoming.
