Dripping in chandeliers, patterned marble flooring, carved pillars and bespoke furniture, this Udaipur apartment is all about the details. Totalling a carpet area of 7,500 sq. ft. the residence has three bedrooms spread across two levels. The abode is a product of the imagination of Beyond Designs, a luxury interior design and decoration firm.   

Every corner of the home is an ode to arts and crafts. The grand entrance is decorated with majestic lion sculptures, and patterned marble flooring. The first floor houses the formal living and dining, an informal living area, master suite comprising of a seating area, dressing room and two bathrooms, one of them being a powder room.   

The dining room is a symphony of carefully arranged frames and modern lamps, accentuated with printed armchairs. 

Blues and greys are scattered across the living area and are topped with chandeliers. The signature centre table is made of marble with cutwork glass legs. Age-old materials like brass, glass, crystal, exotic stones and richly woven textiles elevate the space.   

The master bedroom is decorated using earthy wooden panelling, twin chandeliers and rich, woven fabrics for furniture upholstery. The adjacent living area showcases a wall with heavy mouldings, and another with a gallery of multiple artworks.     

The powder room is a story of infinite reflections, as glass tiles and pendant tiles come together to add dazzle and sparkle. 

The daughter’s room is done up in an elegant blue–and–ivory palette, while the son’s room is done up in white, blue and tan shades with some playful notes in the series of artworks.
