Inside Chennai Super Kings’ skipper, MS Dhoni’s farmhouse in Ranchi

Before going to the UAE, to play for the Indian Premier League, MS Dhoni spent his lockdown days with his family in their 7-acre farmhouse, Kailashpati, on Ring Road, Ranchi. It is said that it took around 3 years to build this architectural marvel.
Also, our Captain Cool is a major dog lover and is currently parenting many of them. Situated in his hometown, this farmhouse has many outdoor spaces for the dogs to have a ball of a time.

The house is located amidst nature. There are trees, flowers and plants everywhere. You can also spot lizards, birds, etc.

Dhoni’s wife Sakshi often surprises her followers with aesthetic outdoor views of this forest-like paradise.

This is the exterior view of the farmhouse. It follows a white and black colour scheme. There’s also a cobblestone path leading to the entrance.

The living room has wooden furniture, floor-to-ceiling windows, brown velvet sofas, faux fur cushions and a Turkish rug.

A magnificent chandelier and majestic decor make this room the perfect spot for gatherings.

Dhoni’s dining area is just as grand.

The bedroom has a huge bed with a headboard.

The outdoor space has a beautiful sitting area.


Dhoni is very passionate about motorbikes. This house has a garage, which displays Mahi’s stunning bike collection.

There is also a special area where Mahi trains his dogs.

Other than a never-ending lawn, the house also has a swimming pool, an indoor stadium and a gymnasium.
