Alia Bhatt  

The dimpled star looked radiant in a yellow Manish Malhotra outfit at Aditya Seal and Anushka Ranjan’s wedding ceremony. Bhatt’s unique reverse plunge blouse was risqué, while also having a rather modest, high neckline at the same time. 

Jacqueline Fernandez 

Those who want a more traditional wedding look can opt for something similar to Jacqueline Fernandez’s Diwali saree by Ekaya Banaras. The Sri Lankan beauty went for a monochrome colour palette as she completed the look with red roses in her hair.  

Khushi Kapoor  

Ethereal in a blue-and-white Anita Dongre ensemble, the young Khushi Kapoor made an appearance at the godbharai for Mohit and Antara Motiwala Marwah, who are expecting their first child. The sheer draped blouse gave the effect of a dupatta, while the panelled, asymmetrical ghaghra added to the contemporary vibe.

Looking simple and elegant in a pale pink saree, Katrina Kaif celebrated Diwali alongside her close family. The Manish Malhotra drape is accentuated by a heavily sequinned blouse and a border of a similar pattern. It is the perfect outfit for a friend’s day wedding ceremony.

For those who want a fuss-free outfit option, look to the older Kapoor sister for inspiration. The actress wore a classic Anita Dongre salwar-kameez for Diwali ‘21 celebrations with family. The olive green suit with dull gold thread work, is best paired with a bold lip and statement earrings.  

Kriti Sanon 

Kriti Sanon’s Sukriti and Aakriti dress is the perfect mix of traditional design with a modern silhouette. Ideal for an evening sangeet and mehendi, the fit and flare cut is highlighted by the golden details and tassels on the bottom half of the gown. 

Kiara Ali Advani 

Proof that any look can be jazzed up with a bright dupatta, is Kiara Advani’s outfit, pictured above. The Bollywood diva takes the all-white ensemble to the next level with a yellow leheriya dupatta. The ivory choli and dramatically flared pants are by fashion designer Faabiiana, and is an ideal combination for a mehendi and haldi function.

Diwali 2021 saw many celebrities stun with their fabulous festive looks. One of them was the gorgeous Priyanka Chopra who sparkled in a lehenga and mirror work choli by Anamika Khanna. Bridesmaids, take note of Chopra-Jonas’ printed bottom and embellished top look, a trend that’s really catching on this shaadi season.  

Shanaya Kapoor  

For producer Rhea Kapoor’s wedding, the entire Kapoor khandaan showcased the perfect style for intimate home weddings. Her cousin, Shanaya Kapoor wore a polka dot lehenga by Arpita Mehta featuring a simple ghaghra with an embroidered spaghetti strap blouse. She dressed up the look with big jhumka earrings. 

Sonam Kapoor 

Once again, the Kapoors give us major style inspiration. At sister Rhea Kapoor’s wedding, Sonam donned an anarkali by Anamika Khanna. The yolk of the pale turquoise blue outfit was heavily embroidered and paired with a light pink net dupatta. While Kapoor opted to accessorise with a choker and big earrings, we would suggest skipping the neckpiece, and going with statement chandbalis and a nude lip.
