The Rivanis plan to rent out the mansion while they relocate to Miami, where many of Mr Rivani’s business interests are now located. And they have listed their Beverly Hills home for rent for a whopping $150,000 a month. The exterior facade of the Rivani home has a gothic-meets-Italian-renaissance aesthetic. It was in 2019 when the couple bought the home for $13.7 million and decided to turn it into their fantasy home. Three years and $4 million later, their home is now replete with interior accents that are filled with decor, furniture and architecture that makes it resemble the sets of Game of Thrones, Harry Potter and Alice in Wonderland.

When the Rivanis bought the home,  they bought a $50,000 replica of the spiked iron throne from Game of Thrones, a Harry Potter-themed apothecary cabinet, a Jungle Room with greenery-covered walls, and even an Alice in Wonderland–themed backyard. Every room feels like a surprise, from the bar room with ornate coffered ceilings and Gothic-style primary bedroom that exudes a vampire-esque aesthetic.
The home also houses opulent and grand chandeliers from Dubai that resembles butterflies, a $20,000 couch in the Jungle Room and other unconventional pieces including a chair made entirely from animal bone, a crown-shaped chandeliers, and so much more.

While the interiors have a maximalist kitsch aesthetic, it is worth noting that each room has a charm of its own. However, the designs are inspired by Robert Rivani’s love for Harry Potter. He has always been a Pottyer fan and always loved escaping into a fantasy world and his wife too soon enough felt the same love. The couple developed a similar love with Game of Thrones.

The one part of the home that is designed by Krystal Rivani is the backyard which is inspired by Alice in Wonderland. Colourful flowers and a life-size chess set, are some of the key defining elements of the backyard. But no matter what is said and done, this kitsch home definite has our hearts — and if you want to escape to a fantasy world for a while, it can’t get any better than the Rivani residence.
