After the fashion month drew to a close this week, it’s safe to say that the luxury fashion market has exciting silhouettes in store for Spring/Summer 2023. But the buck doesn’t stop there. Kapoor Watch company celebrated its 55th anniversary by launching a new watch with Frank Muller and Tag Heuer released a new RS Edition to mark 50 years of the Porsche RS. Pharrell launched his own digital auction platform and the Met Gala theme for 2023 has been narrowed down. Here are all the luxury highlights for the week.
Tag Heuer’s new RS Edition of the Carrera Chronographluxury highlights
The iconic car Porsche RS has completed 50 years today. It was unveiled in Paris is 1972. To celebrate the occasion Tag Heuer has released a new RS Edition of the Carrera Chronograph, featuring the classic colours of blue and white. The watch launched in October and is limited to 500 pieces globally. 
BMW x Ronne Fieg’s 2022 i4 M50 by Kith

Ronnie Fieg in collaboration with BMW has debuted the BMW i4 M50 by Kith which is the first fully electric BMW M model. The exterior features a bespoke green paint that has been specially developed for this projectThe new i4 makes its debut alongside Ronnie’s personal electrified 1972 BMW 1602 Elektro that served as inspiration for the later model.⁠  Only seven BMW i4 M50 by Kith vehicles will be produced for the public and Sotheby’s is to host a public auction that will begin on October 7.

Kapoor Watch Company has completed 55 glorious years and to celebrate the landmark, the company tied up with its long-time partner Franck Muller. As part of the collaboration, the former will exclusively retail 150 pieces of an India limited edition watch collection. These watches were unveiled on September 30 and are priced at INR 11,70,000 and INR 18,72,000 respectively.

Late designer Karl Lagerfeld left a deep hole in the fashion industry, but his legacy continues to live on. From Chanel to Fendi, the veteran has been associated with some of the most well-known luxury fashion houses and has created some of the most iconic styles in fashion history. Next year, the theme for fashion’s biggest event the Met Gala is an ode to the late designer, a huge honour to celebrate the late fashion powerhouse.  
Pharrell launches a digital auction house Joopiter

Singer Pharrell has announced a digital auction house — Joopiter. He described the auction house as a “space built for today’s collector by a team of collectors, curators and creators, to honour rare cultural artefacts.” The first drop features 52 iconic pieces from across Williams’ career are nearly all one-of-one, custom, and created with input from Williams.⁠ Some of the things include his Jacob and Co pendant and chain, 18k gold Blackberry,  Louis Vuitton Steamer Trunk Black Multicolor Monogram, and more. ⁠
