New electric vehicles in 2022

Arushi Sakhuja
The global EV market is developing at a rapid pace. Currently, EVs or electric vehicles occupy 8.3 per cent of the market share. The Indian EV market has kept pace with global cues, with over .32 million cars sold in 2021, up 108 per cent YoY.
The motor industry has undoubtedly struggled when it comes to adoption of clean energy. But it’s safe to say, it has successfully reinvented itself with a range of brands bringing into the market EV vehicles, popularly known as an electric car.
What distinguishes electric cars from all others is the presence of an electric motor instead of an internal combustion engine, and in principle are battery-operated. What makes the vehicle eco-friendly is that electric cars emit no exhaust from a tailpipe and do not contain the typical liquid fuel components. Here are four of the newest electric car announcements to hit the markets soon.
