Tails, Treats, and Trends: What I Loved at Pet Fed 2024

Ever since I became mom to Sushi, the cutest kitten in the world, I’ve been dreaming of taking her to the best playdates and pet festivals. So when I got a chance to attend the Pet Fed 2024, I couldn’t say no (obviously)!  I was thrilled to attend Pet Fed 2024 with my 7-month-old kitten, who stole the show with her playful antics. Held at the NSIC Grounds in Okhla, New Delhi, this year’s event marked the festival’s 10th anniversary, and it was nothing short of a paw-some extravaganza. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with the unmatched vibes of the unbreakable bond between humans and their furry companions.

With its vibrant atmosphere, Pet Fed 2024 brought together pets of all kinds (yes, cats included!) and their devoted hoomans for two unforgettable days. The lineup of activities was impressive, catering to every kind of pet personality. My little ball of fur loved the Kitty PlayPen, darting through tunnels and batting at dangling toys like the queen she is! Meanwhile, I marveled at the variety of engaging activities: masterclasses on grooming and nutrition, agility rings for both cats and dogs, and the absolutely adorable Catapalooza—a feline fiesta featuring games, trophies, and plenty of cat-titude.

One of my favorite moments was watching the Pet Fashion Show, where pets strutted their stuff in dazzling outfits. Seeing pups in tuxedos and cats in tiny tiaras was both hilarious and heartwarming. The adoption camps also tugged at my heartstrings, promoting the message of #AdoptDontShop and offering many furry friends a chance at a forever home.

A haven for budding pet start-ups!

One of the best things at Pet Fed this year was the number of budding pet brands and start-ups showcasing their products and finding the right platform to spread information with the pet parents. From Furry Taxi, a brilliant pet-taxi service to Zimero, an ice cream brand catering to pets, the lineup was nothing short of intriguing. The shopping experience was a dream come true, with over 100+ stalls showcasing the latest pet products, retail therapy being at its finest. Some of the brands that caught our attention were Titling Heads, Emily Pets, Furry Forest, Snugg Puppy, and more.

Akshay Gupta, Founder of Pet Fed, summed it up perfectly: “This event celebrates the deep bond between pets and their parents, creating memories that last a lifetime.” And he’s right—watching my kitten thrive in such a joyful, pet-friendly environment made the day truly special.
