Given the current pandemic, health and safety is a major concern, even at weddings and precautionary measures such as masks, gloves and sanitisers have become part of a bride and groom’s wedding must-haves.
Luxury fashion labels and jewellers across the globe have been experimenting with the new face accessory to add an element of style to the otherwise functional mask.
Tara Sri, a brand of Hyderabad-based Tibarumal Gems & Jewels, has expanded its offerings for brides in keeping with the times by adding glitter and gold to the face accessory.

Gemmologist and jewellery designer Anand Gupta, who is a partner of Tibarumal Gems & Jewels has designed a Bejewelled Tara mask for brides.
The mask brings forth the luminescence of 55.24 carats of polki (uncut) diamonds and 1.24 carats of regular diamonds in traditional kundan setting in 18-karat yellow gold. The mask entails two floral diamond bursts surrounded by multiple rows of uncut diamonds.
The 57-carat diamond mask has a retail price of ₹30 lakh.
The ornamental mask has been crafted with a lot of care and attention to detail and takes more than 440 man-hours to create the masterpiece.
