Rahul Mishra Opens Immersive Flagship ‘Living Museum of Couture’ in Mumbai’s Kala Ghoda

Rahul Mishra, celebrated couturier and the first Indian designer to present at Paris Haute Couture Week, has unveiled his largest flagship store at Horniman Circle in Mumbai’s Kala Ghoda. Spanning 7,500 sq ft and designed in collaboration with architect Rooshad Shroff, Maison Rahul Mishra is envisioned as a ‘living museum of couture’, where fashion, architecture, and craft converge. The immersive space unfolds like chapters in a book- from contemplative galleries showcasing sketches and swatches to sculptural mannequins, embroidered walls, and themed rooms inspired by Mishra’s recurring botanical, entomological, and avian motifs.

With handwoven carpets, marquetry, etched marble, and bespoke lighting, the store extends couture into inhabitable art. The journey culminates in a soaring chamber of suspended metal birds, evoking both grandeur and intimacy. More than a retail destination, the boutique reflects Mishra’s philosophy of mindful luxury and storytelling, positioning the flagship as both a cultural landmark for Kala Ghoda and a sanctuary for India’s artisanal heritage.

Maison Sia, India’s definitive address for global luxury décor, makes a landmark debut into collectible furniture with the exclusive unveiling of Edra and Naturedesign at its Delhi flagship. Curated by founder Vratika Gupta, the showcase bridges art and utility: juxtaposing Edra’s sculptural, innovation-driven icons like Francesco Binfaré’s whimsical Pack Sofa and Jacopo Foggini’s luminous Cicladi Tables with Naturedesign’s soulful creations in reclaimed wood and noble materials.

Together, they embody Maison Sia’s ethos that true luxury is not mass-produced but consciously chosen, offering Indian collectors rare, heirloom-worthy pieces that merge drama with serenity, innovation with heritage, and design with emotion.
