Renowned American brand Tiffany and Co. opened its first store in the capital city, at The Chanakya, a go-to destination for luxury shopping.
It was in 1837 when Charles Lewis Tiffany founded this company in New York City. Tiffany now operates over 300 stores in more than 25 countries. Adding to the brand’s fame is a timeless classic Breakfast at Tiffany’s, a 1958 novel by Truman Capote, which also inspired a movie of the same name, starring Audrey Hepburn.
The Delhi showroom is spread across an area of 2,600 square feet. The store is tastefully designed with contemporary renditions of timeless brand elements, while remaining true to the signature Tiffany and Co. aesthetic. The showroom’s entrance is illuminated by a striking façade of transparent and blue-lit glass, alluring the customers into a modern and romantic atmosphere. Moreover, the front has a Wheat Leaf design, a common art deco reference of progress and modernity, also used in Tiffany’s New York City flagship store. Within the store, fluting details expressed in mirrors on the millwork add a sense of depth and reflectivity to the space. To add to a patron’s shopping experience, a luxurious private salon is reserved for scheduled appointments.
Tiffany is a luxury brand that designs, manufactures and markets jewellery, watches and luxury accessories. The new store will retail new designs as well as its classic collections, including Tiffany T, Tiffany HardWear, Tiffany True and Home & Accessories collection.
Perfumes by Tiffany and Love
Tiffany and Company has also introduced two unique fragrances at Mumbai Duty Free. Adding to their Tiffany and Love collection of fragrances, is an eau de toilette for him and eau de parfum for her. They are crafted by renowned perfumers Sophie Labbe and Nicolas Beaulieu, and have blue sequoia as a common ingredient. This new scent blossoms with a burst of bright and sparkling top notes, beginning with blue basil- a botanical ingredient developed exclusively for Tiffany, developing into an aromatic crispiness with an undertone of sandalwood and vetiver.
This new collection will be available at Mumbai Duty Free and also on their website www.mumbaidutyfree.net
