Noida’s dining renaissance begins with CAMO
As someone who has called Noida home for nearly three years, I’ve grown to love its wide roads and that unmistakable sense of calm. Over the years, I’ve seen the city’s dining scene evolve exponentially, brewing up with some stunning restaurants, and adding to the alluring list is the newest addition, CAMO.
The moment you step into the culinary haven, you’re greeted by a seamless blend of architectural storytelling and culinary artistry, a space that feels both inviting and immersive. Built around the angular lines of the existing structure, the layout centers around a striking courtyard that acts as the heart of the space, guiding guests through an open, flowing experience. “The place is inspired by the earthy grandeur of Turkish bazaars, embracing a warm, rustic aesthetic with Mediterranean lime-clay plaster, terracotta textures, and natural elements like courtyards and water features”, shares Mr. Vikas Khurana, Founder of CAMO as he explains the idea behind its architecture. He adds, “The interiors balance casual and refined dining—one wing offers a relaxed setting with a striking bar, while the other, with its pyramidical skylit roof and live kitchen, provides an elevated dining experience”.
Of course, no visit is complete without a proper culinary deep dive, and I wasted no time in ordering some of their signature cocktails. First up—Thai High, a tropical dream infused with pineapple, honey, and lemongrass-kissed rum, followed by Tokyo Tini, a bold martini with mixed berries and a citrusy yuzu punch. To start, the Wild Mushroom & Hot Truffle Dimsum (drenched in scallion oil) set the tone, alongside the Spicy Hawker Chicken, which packed just the right kick.
But what really stole my heart? Their Chili Oil Chicken Pepperoni Pizza, an artisanal flatbread that was worth every extra calorie. Another signature cocktail, Indian Made, soon followed—a tribute to India’s roots with timur-infused gin and a citrusy zing. For the main course, I leaned into Asian flavors, indulging in a rich Green Thai Curry with fragrant Jasmine rice. And just when I thought I couldn’t eat another bite, CAMO’s special Tiramisu arrived, and let’s just say, every spoonful was worth the wait.

Talking about CAMO’s inception, Mr. Khurana shares, “The idea was to create a space that adapts effortlessly to different moods—whether it’s a power lunch, a coffee break, or an intimate dinner. We envisioned CAMO as a seamless transition from a chic café by day to a refined, high-end dining experience at night. Inspired by both nostalgia and innovation, it blends modern Indian and Pan-Asian influences with playful small plates, smoky grills, and bold, unexpected flavours.”
If you’re in or around Noida, and looking for a restaurant that screams luxury without the pretense, you can rely on CAMO for a coffee, a power lunch, or a leisurely date night with your bae.
