Tiffany & Co.’s new Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder is an ode to the ocean

There is something undeniably charming about spotting that iconic turquoise box wrapped in a pristine ivory ribbon secured with a perfect bow. At first glance, our eyes gleam with joy, simply thinking, “Oh… What’s in that Tiffany box?” Last year, the brand wowed everyone with its Blue Book 2024: Tiffany Céleste collection, a tribute to the famous Tiffany designer Jean Schlumberger. This year, they’ve taken things even further with the launch of Tiffany & Co.’s new Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder,  a high jewellery collection inspired by the beauty and mystery of the ocean.

“This collection is inspired by Jean Schlumberger’s love for the sea. At Tiffany, we continue to reimagine his ideas in a fresh, modern way,” says Nathalie Verdeille, Chief Artistic Officer of Jewellery and High Jewellery.  The new Blue Book 2025: Sea of Wonder collection from Tiffany & Co. is a stunning showcase of jewellery, featuring pieces like a necklace adorned with a cresting wave of diamonds, complemented by icy blue and sea green cuprian elbaite tourmalines from Mozambique. Another highlight is a breathtaking diamond ring valued at $3.5 million. This collection beautifully captures the allure, movement, and mystery of the ocean, presenting a surreal journey from the figurative to the abstract, inspired by the legendary aquatic designs of Jean Schlumberger.

The collection was revealed at Tiffany’s flagship store in New York on 25 April, where the space was transformed into a soft, dreamy underwater world in pastel colours. The new designs are split into six sea-themed chapters: Seahorse, Sea Turtle, Ocean Flora, Starfish, Urchin, and Wave. Each chapter shows off different gemstones like Zambian emeralds, moonstones, blue tourmalines, rubies, and diamonds used in creative, ocean-inspired ways. For example, the Ocean Flora pieces highlight Zambian emeralds and diamonds, while the Seahorse chapter uses moonstones and zircons. The Sea Turtle collection focuses on detailed diamond designs. The Starfish designs are playful and bold, with 18k gold, rubies from Mozambique, and rose-cut diamonds. The Wave pieces are bold and sculptural, capturing the motion of the sea in jewellery form.

The colour palette of the collection captures the beautiful shimmer of underwater light and the fascinating glow of ocean creatures. One of the standout pieces from the 2025 Blue Book collection is the Wave Green and Blue Cuprian Elbaite Tourmaline Necklace. Made with a lovely mix of 18k white and yellow gold, this necklace showcases a striking combination of 10 carats of rich green cuprian elbaite tourmalines and 6 carats of bright blue cuprian elbaite tourmalines, creating a delightful blend that really brings out the feelings of the sea.

Another must-see piece is the charming redesigned 1968 Seahorse brooch, which adds a touch of fun and elegance to any outfit. And let’s not forget the gorgeous Wave necklace, it’s adorned with sparkling diamonds and features 17 carats of stunning blue cuprian elbaite tourmalines. Together, these beautiful pieces celebrate the joy and magic of the ocean, making them perfect for anyone who loves a little splash of elegance in their jewellery collection!

Each piece in our latest Blue Book collection captivates and invites us to lose ourselves in the rich storytelling as we embark on a journey through uncharted realms of the deep sea,” added Nathalie Verdeille. The collection transforms the ocean’s mysteries into beautiful, wearable masterpieces.
