Valentino is best known for its signature V logo and more recently, they are also the pioneers of the surging hot pink trend with the Valentino Pink PP Collection. However, Indians almost always had to plan a trip overseas to get their hands on the latest pieces showcased on the runway, and in fact any product from the luxury designer. To bridge this gap, Reliance Brands Limited patterned with Valentino to bring the brand to the country. This long-term distribution agreement sure has spiked our interest, read on to know more about the first store in India.
The luxury brand, Valentino opens doors to their first store in India in the capital city of New Delhi. Nestled in the most up-market hub of the city, DLF Emporio, the boutique, spans over 110 square meters. Reliance Brands Limited brought the association into India, and the first store will be followed by a flagship store in Mumbai.

Speaking on the new opening, Darshan Mehta, MD of Reliance Brands Limited said, “The brand’s infectious romanticism, signature codes and bold use of colour have strong resonance in India. This partnership will help make the brand more accessible to its Indian customers and build a new tribe of Valentino connoisseurs.”
The boutique’s experiential design will provide customers with a global experience and a bespoke client experiential journey. Display windows at the newly opened door showcase the iconic Valentino Pink PP Collection — the trend that was made extremely famous by the brand. The facade features a special installation with stand lights and ultra-clear view vinyl on the glass of the window and the store houses women’s and men’s clothing, Valentino Garavani bags, shoes and accessories. Modern interiors tastefully curated visual merchandising and a colour palette that makes vibrant colours stand out is the theme of the store.
