Kriti Sanon in Coach

Husein Haveliwala

Bollywood’s girl-next-door Kriti Sanon enjoys a place of her own. The simple, yet, stylish Kriti has won many fans and bagged many meaty roles in recent times. Her movies Luka Chuppi and Bareilly Ki Barfi were also liked by the critics. The engineering graduate was recently invited to attend Coach’s Spring Summer 2020 show at the New York Fashion Week, where she had a front-row seat. She talks to LuxeBook about her NY experience, her style philosophy and some travel basics.
My personal style: To opt for something that suits my frame.
I would love to borrow from, Kendall Jenner’s closet. I love her!

I splurge most on jackets.
My all-time favourite travel destination is New York, for sure.
My favourite thing to do in New York is shop, shop, and shop!
My flight activities include catching up on sleep and watching world cinema.
I love Mumbai rains, and Marine Drive is my favourite place to chill if I can.
My most prized possession is my family.
One gadget I can’t live without is my phone.
Luxury to me is to get more time in life. I need time to do everything I can’t do in the number of hours I have right now!
I love Coach’s handbags because they’re perfect as, both, daywear and evening wear. The designs are on-trend and utilitarian, but still chic. I just recently got a Coach Tabby shoulder bag that I was carrying to the Spring/Summer 2020 show. It is super structured and has some interesting hardware.

It was really exciting to meet Coach’s Creative Director Stuart Vevers. He has such an amazing vision for the brand. I have been following his work since he took over the reins and seen what wonderful things he has done with this heritage label.
