As the world becomes a smaller place, thanks to the digital era, people are more attuned to a global culture. In terms of the alcohol industry as well, Indians are now more open to experimentation, a statement confirmed by the homegrown wave of gins in the country, available in unusual flavours and infused in an array of botanicals.
The consumer is also inspired by travels, leading to a demand for different wines from India, and local brands such as Grover Zampa are seeking to supply this demand with a range of vino for the discerning palate. The winemakers are even experimenting with their tanks, introducing imported concrete tanks to age wine. These special egg-shaped tanks add and retain the freshness of the spirit. Grover Zampa even has a selection of imported wines from Bourgogne Côte Chalonnaise, France, in association with Chateau D’Etroyes. Read on to know more about their collection of full-bodied red and white wines, as well as a dessert wine.
