While mindlessly scrolling through the ‘Gram, I recently came across a reel where a wine shop by the day transformed into a full fledged hidden bar by the night! And just when I thought it couldn’t get any cooler, I stumbled upon another transformational project, courtesy of architect Karan Desai.

A home turned into an office & a party pad!

Welcome to the ultimate multitasking marvel: an apartment that effortlessly transitions from a sleek office space by day to a vibrant party pad by night, all thanks to the brilliant mind of Architect and Designer Karan Desai. With free rein from his client, a realty developer and father of three sons, Karan infused the space with personality and versatility like never before.

By day, the office radiates sophistication, with chic rhombus tiles from Marca Carona, Italy, adorning the floors and walls painted in soothing hues that seamlessly blend with the surroundings. The living room doubles as a welcoming visitors’ lounge, featuring plush sofas and luminous flooring that extends into the pantry and den, offering a cozy yet elegant ambiance.

The curtains are drawn strategically, inviting you to feast your eyes on the breathtaking scenery captured in our reels for the ultimate experience. But that’s just the beginning! Enter to find Oikos Stucco finish adorning every wall, creating a luxurious texture that begs to be touched. And let’s not forget about the ceiling – illuminated by a backlit vinyl that sets the stage for all the mood lighting and hues imaginable, ensuring the perfect party atmosphere every time.

As twilight falls, the magic truly begins. With smart automation controlling the lighting and ambiance, the lounge transforms into a chic venue for intimate gatherings, while the kitchen-turned-pantry becomes a hub for informal meetings, complete with a lucky numeral “24” as a nod to the owner’s superstitions.

The owner’s cabin exudes tranquility, with stucco walls mirroring the warmth of the rhombus tiles, while the executive desk, a creative tribute to the iconic Erasmo desk, exudes timeless elegance. Custom-designed furniture pieces, including sofas upholstered in gold and floral prints, infuse a sense of luxury throughout the space.

In the bar-turned-bedroom, den-like vibes reign supreme, with a micro-concrete-coated bar in pastel pink hues and stylish Vondom furniture creating an inviting atmosphere. Caricatures of the family members add a personal touch, while curved balconies provide the perfect spot for al fresco entertaining.
