Coach has made its foray into the hospitality industry with the opening of The Coach Restaurant and Coach Coffee Shop at Grand Indonesia Mall. Drawing inspiration from its hometown, New York City, since 1941, The Coach Restaurant reimagines the classic New York steakhouse with a modern twist. Crafted with Coach’s signature leatherware and floral detailing, the restaurant offers iconic New York steakhouse dishes like strip steak and shrimp cocktail, along with classic martinis. Designed by Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers and William Sofield of Studio Sofield, The Coach Restaurant features a blend of natural and industrial elements, paying homage to Coach’s craftsmanship and New York heritage. The space, inspired by New York City taxis, boasts bistro-style leather booths and a NYC taxicab installation, creating an intimate dining atmosphere.mAdjacent to the restaurant, the Coach Coffee Shop adds a playful touch with its modern take on a classic New York corner store, featuring a cityscape wallpaper and a menu of diner favourites. With its urban attitude and friendly mascot, Lil Miss Jo, the Coach Coffee Shop invites guests to experience the spirit of the city that never sleeps. This might be one of the most exciting luxury highlights for the week.

Vacheron Constantin, the renowned Swiss luxury watchmaker with almost 270 years of expertise, joins hands with Emirati designer Omar Al Gurg to introduce ‘Among The Pillars’ – an awe-inspiring art installation to celebrate Ramadan. This collaboration blends the designer’s minimalist approach with fine craftsmanship and locally sourced materials, showcasing Vacheron Constantin’s dedication to regional culture, innovation, and artistry. The designer’s minimalist approach brings together fine craftsmanship and locally sourced materials, illustrating the Maison’s commitment to local culture, innovation and craftsmanship. Omar Al Gurg, is known for his simple and adaptable style. He perfectly embodies Vacheron Constantin’s yearly theme, ‘Less’ential’, by showing how simplicity in design can be beautiful and impactful. Inspired by Middle Eastern culture, he created a 4-meter-tall masterpiece using two innovative local materials. The first material, called “PlyPalm”, is made from palm tree fronds and represents elegance and heritage. The hexagonal pillars made from this material symbolize the strong roots of the region’s heritage. The second material, “DateForm”, is the world’s first solid surface made from date seeds. This material, derived from dates, adds to the traditions of the holy month and forms the backdrop of the artwork.  The main art piece is exhibited in the Atrium of The Dubai Mall flagship boutique and replicated in all regional boutiques across the United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain during the entire month of Ramadan.
