MG Motors recently launched the 2021 Hector Facelift, which offers an array of new features. The new avatar is available for up to Rs18.32 lakh fora 5-seater variant and up to Rs19.12 lakh for the 6-seater variant, ex-showroom.

The new SUV’s skid plate on the rear and the front bumpers have a gunmetal grey finishing and has a chrome-stud pattern on the grille up-front. The car comes with newly designed, 18-inch alloy wheels, bigger from the 17 inches of its predecessor, and you can get a dual-tone exterior colour as well.

As for the interiors, you can choose a dual-tone champagne-gold colour option along with the existing all-black scheme. The front seats have a three-step ventilation system and the car is equipped with a new wireless mobile phone charger. The 10.4-inch touchscreen has MG’s updated i-Smart system, which now understands ‘Hinglish’ voice commands. The system understands around 35 Hinglish commands like ‘Hello MG, sunroof kholo‘, ‘Hello MG, AC chalao‘ and ‘Hello MG, radio bajao‘.

The brand new SUV comes with 1.5 litre petrol or 2.0 litre diesel engine; the petrol and petrol-hybrid versions make 141 bhp and 250 Nm torque, and the diesel engine makes 168 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque.
