Your home is a big metaphor when it comes to a wedding, it involves brides and grooms taking the step to build their own home. Aangan in its narrative urges brides to take a trip down memory lane – through the wholesome corridors of family love, along the footsteps of togetherness. The home that bears whispers of the glory of your first footstep, the silent love of a hug in the arms of your family, and the warm memories that echo within the walls of your home.

The memories of growing up, wanting to leave and wanting to come back are what inspired the new collection, designed for the strong and ambitious bride, as she looks back to her roots and her home.

The collection is defined by exaggerated chokers and maalas with striking polki diamonds, accompanied by Russian emeralds and rubies, encrusted with lustrous gold and jadai work. Bringing in a tinge of minimalism are the dainty hathphools and delicate maangteekas, a balanced contrast against the grand Jadau and polki diamonds.

‘Aangan – where the stories begin’ is a big-fat celebration of the love for the place that we all come from. Striving to pay tribute to Rajasthan’s epic craftsmanship and heritage, the message for Raniwala’s new campaign is loud and ostentatious on its own, “Life takes you places, but love always always takes you home”.
