Virat Kohli

Net worth in 2022 – US $127 million 

Former captain of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli is one of the most dedicated players in the country. His impressive skills as a cricketer earned him a spot in the A+ BCCI contract which pays him a sum of ₹7 crore annually. This excludes his per-match fees of ₹15 lakh per test match, ₹6 lakh per ODI and ₹3 lakh per T20 match.

Deemed one of the most marketable stars in India, Kohli is one of the few cricketers with the highest number of endorsement deals in the country. These include brands like Tissot, Phillips, Audi, Fastrack, Puma, Godrej, Vivo MRF Tires and more. He reportedly charges a minimum of ₹17 crore per brand deal and about ₹2 crore per day for shoots. Aside from these, Kohli also earns from investments like his fashion brands — One8 and Wrogn, and his recent venture into hospitality with the One8 Commune resto-bar.

As for properties, Kohli has two homes, a bungalow in Delhi worth ₹80 crore and a luxury pad in South Mumbai worth₹35 crore that he shares with his wife, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. A well-known motorhead, Kohli also owns a number of luxury cars from brands such as Audi, Toyota, Lamborghini, Mercedes, BMW, and Volkswagen.

Rohit Sharma

Net worth in 2022 – US $24 million

Captain of the Indian cricket team, Rohit Sharma holds an A+ BCCI contract as well, which like Kohli pays him ₹7 crore per annum, along with his per match fees of ₹15 lakh per test match, ₹6 lakh per ODI and ₹3 lakh per T20 match. In addition to being one of the highest-paid cricketers in the country, Sharma is also the highest-paid cricketer in the IPL, earning him a sum of ₹16 crore per match. This fee is justified considering Mumbai Indians have won the IPL title 5 times under Sharma’s leadership.

The tag of Indian captaincy is said to have really put Sharma under the spotlight, making him the second most popular cricketer after Kohli when it comes to brand endorsements. His list of brand endorsements includes Hublot, Adidas, Chandon, Oppo, CEAT, Nissan, Videocon, Dream 11 and Royal Stag among others, for which he charges ₹5 crore per deal.

Sharma currently owns a plush 6,000 sq. ft. apartment valued at ₹30 crore in South Mumbai, where he lives with his wife and daughter. He is also known for his luxurious fleet of cars which includes a Lamborghini Urus, a Mercedes-Benz GLS 350 d, a BMW X3, a Toyota Fortuner as well as a Suzuki Hayabusa superbike.

Jasprit Bumrah

Net worth in 2022 – US $8 million

Considered as one of the most successful bowlers in cricket, Jasprit Burmah is a right-arm fast bowler and a prominent part of the Indian cricket team’s bowling unit. Holding an A+ BCCI contract along with Kohli and Sharma, Burmah too, receives ₹7 crore per annum, along with ₹6 lakh per ODI and ₹3 lakh per T20 match.

Burma has quite a few brand endorsements which add to his ₹23.25 crore annual earnings. Most recently he was announced as the brand ambassador for OnePlus Wearables — the OnePlus Band and OnePlus Watch. Additionally, he is also associated with brands like Royal Stag, Boat, Dream 11, and Asics among others.

Jasprit Bumrah has several properties to his name including a lavish apartment in Mumbai worth ₹2 crore, another one in Ahmedabad worth ₹3 crore along with several others in Pune. While Burmah isn’t exactly a car enthusiast, he does own a few swanky models from Range Rover, Mercedes Benz, and Nissan.

Ravindra Jadeja

Net worth in 2022 – US $13 million

Another A-grade player, Ravindra Jadeja is one of the finest all-rounders in the Indian cricket team, deemed to be one of the best fielders in the cricket world. Holding an A contract, Jadeja earns ₹5 crore per annum as per his BCCI contract, in addition to his per match costs of ₹6 lakh per ODI, ₹3 lakh per T-20 match and ₹15 lakh per test match. Playing for the Chennai Super Kings team in the IPL, Jadeja also earns a sum of ₹7 crore a year for the same. Additional earnings come from his handful of endorsements with brands like Asics,  SWOTT, Beardo, Bajaj and Zeven, for which he charges ₹1 crore per deal.

Hailing from a royal family in Gujarat, Jadeja owns a prestigious 4-storey bungalow in Gujarat where he lives with his family. Apart from this home, he also owns another farmhouse property located about 25 km from his 4-storey mansion. The farmhouse titled “Mr Jaddu’s Farm House” is where the cricketer comes to spend time with his beloved horses.

KL Rahul

Net worth in 2022 – US $10 million

Regarded as one of the best openers for India, KL Rahul has a grade B contract with BCCI earning ₹5 crore per year. Being the fourth-fastest player, Rahul is the only player to have scored 4000 runs in the Twenty20 format raising his per-match earnings to ₹6 lakh per ODI, ₹3 lakh per T-20 match and ₹15 lakh per test match.

KL Rahul’s good boy image and attractive persona have made him the second most marketable cricketer after Virat Kohli, which has earned him numerous brand endorsements including Puma, NUMI, Boat, Realme, Tata Nexon, Beardo, Cure.fit and Red Bull. For each of his endorsements, Rahul charges anywhere between ₹50 lakh to ₹1 crore per endorsement deal and ₹10 lakh per ad shoot.

The cricketer owns two homes at the moment, one in Bengaluru worth ₹65 lakh, where he lives with his family and another 7,000 sq. ft. villa in Goa. Like most cricketers on this list, KL Rahul too is a car enthusiast. Hardik Pandya

Net worth in 2022 – US $10 million

Pandya who held a grade B BCCI contract was demoted earlier this year to a grade C earning him an annual income of 1 crore. However, like Rohit Sharma, Pandya too is one of the highest-paid cricketers in the IPL, receiving a sum of ₹15 crore this year. Additionally, he also receives a lump sum per match, earning ₹20 lakh per ODI match, ₹30 lakh per Test, and ₹15 lakh for every T20 game.

In addition to his earnings through cricket, Hardik Pandya is associated with a handful of brands namely Gillette, Boat, Gulf Oil, Monster, Dream 11, Britannia, Sin Denim and Oppo, for which he earns ₹1 crore per endorsement.

The cricketer currently owns two homes, a 6,000 sq. ft. penthouse in Vadodara, Gujarat worth 2 crore, and another 3,838 sq. ft. home in Khar, Mumbai worth ₹30 crore. At present, Pandya lives in the Mumbai home with his wife and son.
