Former captain of the Indian cricket team, Virat Kohli is one of the most dedicated players in the country. His impressive skills as a cricketer earned him a spot in the A+ BCCI contract which pays him a sum of ₹7 crore annually. This excludes his per-match fees of ₹15 lakh per test match, ₹6 lakh per ODI and ₹3 lakh per T20 match.

Deemed one of the most marketable stars in India, Kohli is one of the few cricketers with the highest number of endorsement deals in the country. These include brands like Tissot, Phillips, Audi, Fastrack, Puma, Godrej, Vivo MRF Tires and more. He reportedly charges a minimum of ₹17 crore per brand deal and about ₹2 crore per day for shoots. Aside from these, Kohli also earns from investments like his fashion brands — One8 and Wrogn, and his recent venture into hospitality with the One8 Commune resto-bar.

Captain of the Indian cricket team, Rohit Sharma holds an A+ BCCI contract as well, which like Kohli pays him ₹7 crore per annum, along with his per match fees of ₹15 lakh per test match, ₹6 lakh per ODI and ₹3 lakh per T20 match. In addition to being one of the highest-paid cricketers in the country, Sharma is also the highest-paid cricketer in the IPL, earning him a sum of ₹16 crore per match. This fee is justified considering Mumbai Indians have won the IPL title 5 times under Sharma’s leadership.

The tag of Indian captaincy is said to have really put Sharma under the spotlight, making him the second most popular cricketer after Kohli when it comes to brand endorsements. His list of brand endorsements includes Hublot, Adidas, Chandon, Oppo, CEAT, Nissan, Videocon, Dream 11 and Royal Stag among others, for which he charges ₹5 crore per deal.

Considered as one of the most successful bowlers in cricket, Jasprit Burmah is a right-arm fast bowler and a prominent part of the Indian cricket team’s bowling unit. Holding an A+ BCCI contract along with Kohli and Sharma, Burmah too, receives ₹7 crore per annum, along with ₹6 lakh per ODI and ₹3 lakh per T20 match.

Burma has quite a few brand endorsements which add to his ₹23.25 crore annual earnings. Most recently he was announced as the brand ambassador for OnePlus Wearables — the OnePlus Band and OnePlus Watch. Another A-grade player, Ravindra Jadeja is one of the finest all-rounders in the Indian cricket team, deemed to be one of the best fielders in the cricket world. Holding an A contract, Jadeja earns ₹5 crore per annum as per his BCCI contract, in addition to his per match costs of ₹6 lakh per ODI, ₹3 lakh per T-20 match and ₹15 lakh per test match. Playing for the Chennai Super Kings team in the IPL, Jadeja also earns a sum of ₹7 crore a year for the same. Additional earnings come from his handful of endorsements with brands like Asics,  SWOTT, Beardo, Bajaj and Zeven, for which he charges ₹1 crore per deal.

KL Rahul

Being the fourth-fastest player, Rahul is the only player to have scored 4000 runs in the Twenty20 format raising his per-match earnings to ₹6 lakh per ODI, ₹3 lakh per T-20 match and ₹15 lakh per test match.

KL Rahul’s good boy image and attractive persona have made him the second most marketable cricketer after Virat Kohli, which has earned him numerous brand endorsements including Puma, NUMI, Boat, Realme, Tata Nexon, Beardo, Cure.fit and Red Bull. For each of his endorsements, Rahul charges anywhere between ₹50 lakh to ₹1 crore per endorsement deal and ₹10 lakh per ad shoot.
