The ‘sneaker culture’ is something that has been growing at a tremendous rate lately, leading to a variety of luxury collaborations and celebrity promotions. Here are a few of the best recent sneaker collaborations:
1) Dior x Air Jordan 1

The Air Dior is made using high-quality leather and has a simple, grey/white colour-way that allows the Dior oblique motif on the Nike swoosh to shine through. Small details like the ‘Air Dior’ tag are hidden in the laces, and the translucent soles have the words ‘Dior’ and ‘Air Dior’ engraved in them. There were only 8500 pairs of the shoe created, each being individually numbered from 1-8500.

This shoe, created for skateboarding, is made using suede, paisley canvas, and plaid flannel. It features various types of prints and minor but noticeable designs on the collar of the shoe. Its distinctive black/beige/white colour-way and the Cactus Jack logo on the tongue of the shoe make it stand out even more.

This shoe comprises of several minuscule designs, which juxtapose perfectly to create an outstanding look. The shoe displays a consistent black/red colour-way and has an upper made out of black textile mesh. It also has circular windows filled with tiny detail around its body, and a reflective ‘crest’ on its tongue. The old-school translucent soles give it a wholesome look.
5) G-Dragon PEACEMINUSONE x Nike Air Force 1 “Para-Noise”

This shoe has a simple black/white colour-way and a few black stripes on the midsole of the shoe. It also comprises of the PEACEMINUSONE daisy motif on its tongue. The shoe is coated with a special lacquer, which rubs off over time and divulges G-Dragons complex art, which completely changes the look of the shoe, giving it a very unique colour-way.
