Design wonder: Finger rings that marvellously capture the glory of Stonehenge, Colosseum

Theo Fennell recently released a new addition to its opening ring collection; The Summer Solstice Stonehenge. The ring is an elegant blend of traditional craftsmanship and ancient architecture. The brand has crafted similar designs in the past and they are taking the world by storm.

The ring pays homage to Stonehenge’s annual ritual on June 21, when tourists enter the prehistoric stone circle and watch the sunrise. This ring was designed with 18ct yellow gold, a blue topaz roof set with diamonds to depict the transition of the night sky into dawn. When the domed roof opens, an intricate miniature version of the Stonehenge can be seen.  It is priced at £20,000.
Slain Gladiator

Taking Inspiration from Colosseum, great Roman monument, this 18ct yellow gold ring is a miniature colosseum ring, complete with a slain gladiator in the middle of it.

Joshua Tree

The Joshua tree growing in severe situations is seen as a symbol of faith and hope in times of crisis. Early Mormon settlers named the tree after prophet Joshua, as its branches reminded them of his arms that he rose to pray. This 18ct Yellow Gold ring features a smokey quartz dome along with 0.54ct diamonds. A miniature Joshua Tree in black is visible once the dome is lifted. It costs £17,750.

This ring features a rainbow inside when viewed through the dome. However, once you open it, you can spot a miniature pot of gold coins. What makes this ring unique is the fact that on both the sides of the ring, a door is visible. Upon opening the doors, two beautiful mini paintings of a European village-like scenery with the rainbow is seen. 18ct yellow gold, rock crystal, 0.61ct diamonds and Enamel is used. It is priced at £31,500.

This ring crafted in 18ct yellow gold with 0.65ct diamonds, features a beautiful scene of two frogs kissing. The dome is built using luscious green 42.66ct emerald and hints of green colour is seen throughout the design over the miniature frogs, grass and tiny fireflies. The price is available on request.

This ring features 3 miniature camels walking in the empty quarter sand dessert along with Red Gold lizards on both the sides. It is created using 18ct yellow gold along with 1.01ct diamonds. It comes along with a Salamander Magnifying Glass pendant and chain crafted using 18ct Yellow Gold, a 2.65ct Black Diamond, 1.38ct Diamonds and 0.04ct rubies in a wood display box. Igloo

After a visit to the tropical desert of Asia, Theo takes us to the snow-clad region of Earth with his Igloo ring. This beautiful ring is unlike others because it is crafted using 18ct white gold with 0.39ct diamonds and 3.19ct rock crystals. It features a mini igloo under the dome and gives you Frozen vibes with its perfect colour. This ring costs £14,950.
