The Olympic Games that commenced on July 23 has grabbed everyone’s attention. With so many athletes making it big, have you ever wondered how much they’re worth? Well, except for some Indian athletes that live with hardships, in most other countries athletes and players are given the respect, money, and facilities they deserve.
1. Shaun White: $60 million
An American professional snowboarder, Shaun White has won three Olympic gold medals in his career and has an annual income of $10 million. This includes endorsement deals with brands like Burton Snowboards, Birdhouse Skateboards, HP and Sony to name a few. While he currently lives in a $6,400,000 home in Los Angeles, he also has several other properties including a condo in Park City, Utah, two houses in Malibu and another home in Laurel Canyon. Famous American tennis player, Serena Williams has an annual income of $8 million, including $20 million from sponsors like Nike, Wilson, Aston Martin, etc. She also has her own clothing lines, Aneres (which is her first name spelt backwards) and S by Serena. She owns two properties, one in Florida costing $2.7 million and another in Miami which was designed by her sister Venus. Swiss professional tennis player, Roger Federer has an annual income of $100 million which includes income from his brand endorsements with Rolex, Mercedes-Benz, Barilla, Moët & Chandon and Uniqlo. He owns two lavish homes, one in Switzerland costing $9 million and another in Dubai costing $23.5 million.
