A venture started at the age of 19, popular Indian designer Masaba Gupta’s label ‘House of Masaba’ has completed 12 colourful years in the fashion industry this year.
Masaba is globally recognised as the ‘Queen of Prints’. Her quirky, experimental style and her unique, fuss-free silhouettes bridge the gap between Haute and Pret Couture.
She is one of the few designers to have mastered the fusion trend, taking everyday mundane items and turning them into unconventional motifs and prints.
She even made her acting debut with the Netflix series Masaba Masaba, a semi-fictional show that was loosely based on her and her mother, Neena Gupta’s lives.
