Former legendary captain of the Indian Cricket team, M.S. Dhoni celebrates his 40th birthday today. In his ten year journey in the cricket industry, Dhoni has made quite a mark for himself. Here’s taking a look at the former cricketer’s journey and his lavish lifestyle.

Kickstarting his career in the year 2004, Dhoni instantly became a cricket sensation after his winning century in the 2005 ODI against Pakistan. In 2014, Dhoni announced his retirement ceding his captainship in the Indian Nation Cricket team and eventually from international cricket. He still plays in the IPL series.
Today, Dhoni is regarded as one of the richest cricketers in the country, with a net worth of 110 million dollars. After his rise to fame, the actor became a very popular face, which got him a lot of brand endorsements, including luxury watch brand Panerai, Reebok, MasterCard India and Oppo to name a few. Dhoni reportedly charges between Rs 3-10 crores per brand endorsement deal, earning a total of almost Rs 2 million every year.

M.S. Dhoni’s house in Ranchi on a 7-acre plot, costing Rs 6 crores, is truly a dream home. The property is a farmhouse that the cricketer shares with his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva. Other than his Ranchi home, he reportedly also owns two houses that he bought this year, one in Pune and another in Mumbai, which is still under construction.

Dhoni is very passionate about cars and bikes. He has quite an impressive collection, which includes a Range Rover Sport, Audi Q7, BMW 7 Series, Mercedes G Wagon, Toyota Land Cruiser, Hummer H2 and a Mahindra Scorpio. His bikes collection includes Royal Enfield Bullet 500, Hayabusa, Kawasaki Ninja, Yamaha R1 and a Ducati 1908.
