We carefully studied the features of the iPad Pro to check if it can replace a computer.
1) Consistent Basics
The 2020 iPad Pro has similar specs as the 2018 version. It comes in the same 11-inch and 12.9-inch variants with large displays of 2,388×1,668 pixels and 2,732×2048 pixels at a 120Hz refresh rate. It still uses the USB-C as its only physical port. The promise of up to 10 hours of battery life is also unchanged.
However, all its variants have now been upgraded to 6GB RAM. The base configuration is 128GB. The remaining storage options remain the same: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. It will also come shipped with the newest version iPadOS13.4, which features an advanced mouse with trackpad support.

2) Upgraded Camera
The camera is one of the biggest changes introduced to the iPad Pro 2020. With two lenses, Wide: 12 MP (f/1.8 aperture) and an Ultrawide: 10 MP( f/2.4 aperture), the quality has just ameliorated.
The most exciting new feature is the LIDAR scanner, which is generally used in self-driving cars and space rovers. This sensor massively improves the ‘Augmented Reality’ experience on the new iPad and proves that it is these minor, yet standard-setting innovations that make Apple an industry leader.

3) Processing Unit
The new iPad Pro will be using the new A12Z Bionic chip. The power improvement over the A12X (used in the 2018 model) is fairly minimal. Still, it is a remarkable piece of engineering and can definitely challenge most laptops on the market in terms of power and multitasking.

4) Accessories
The new Magic Keyboard Case, which must be purchased separately, is a key feature that might want you to replace your laptop with iPad Pro. A backlight keyboard along with a trackpad completes the whole laptop experience. Even though it does not have the escape and function keys, it is more than capable of doing the job.
The Apple Pencil (2nd generation) has a small design change, an improved grip at the edges, which helps you hold it more comfortably.

5) Prices
The iPad Pro 2020 starts at Rs71,900. The Magic Keyboard Case 11-inch variant is priced at Rs27,900 and the 12.9-inch model is for Rs31,900. The Apple Pencil costs Rs10,900.
