Are you jumping with joy? Because we surely are! Major Food Group and Atlantis The Royal are bringing New York’s honed restaurant, CARBONE to Dubai in early 2025. Known to be the go-to restaurant for many celebrities, the restaurant will bring its world-class, New York-style Italian cuisine to the city of Dubai. Being the first time in history that the food chain comes to Dubai it’s time for all food lovers and others to rejoice. Speaking on the new collaboration, Major Food Group Co-Founder Jeff Zalaznick said, “At CARBONE Dubai, we will deliver the style, energy, and unparalleled cuisine which is synonymous with the brand while creating a restaurant carefully tailored to this extraordinary city.” According to sources, the celebrity favourite will take over the space formally occupied by Resonance by Heston Blumenthal on the ground floor of the beachfront hotel.
While the interiors and more details are yet to seen, what we do know about so far is the menu. And the menu is already making our mouths water. Championing New York-style Italian cuisine, CARBONE at Dubai will elevate classic dishes such as Caesar Salad, Linguini Vongole, Chicken Scarpariello, and Veal Parmesan. However, some of their signature dishes like the sensational Spicy Rigatoni will be present on the menu. In addition, one is uncertain whether there will be certain dishes that are special to the region.
The exceptional food isn’t just limited to the palate. Being housed within one of Dubai’s most luxurious hotels, Atlantis The Royal added its very own flair of finesse. At CARBONE in Atlantis The Royal Dubai, food will be served by staff dressed in tuxedos in a sprawling dining room that will transport guests to 1950s New York. Furniture was in sleek and streamlined silhouettes, and pieces such as sunburst mirrors and abstract art added colour to the home. Stepping inside CARBONE Dubai, you can find velvety jewel-tone nooks, damask-upholstered walls accented with Venetian glass mirrors, and a curated collection of fine artwork. What’s more? For a pristine view of Dubai’s skyline, book a spot on their buzzing terrace.
The chain made its debut in Manhattan over a decade ago and ever since the food quality remains unchanged and par excellence. In fact, the restaurant’s food has been called absolutely perfect by many food critics around the globe which has further cemented its reputation as one of the most influential contemporary restaurants. Currently, the chain has outposts in Las Vegas, Hong Kong, Miami, Dallas, Doha, and Riyadh. Celebrities and food enthusiasts alike have flocked to CARBONE, with its guest list boasting names like Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, and Drake. Now, Dubai diners can look forward to experiencing the same culinary magic. CARBONE Dubai will mark the ninth CARBONE in MFG’s roster, following Hong Kong, Las Vegas, Miami, Dallas, Doha, Riyadh, and two outposts in New York City.
