This rare and limited-edition single malt was released in December 2020 to celebrate Dalmore’s 180th anniversary. The 60-year-old single malt has been created from two twin casks, the very last casks of the great Mackenzie era that’s been reposed in Dalmore’s Highland distillery. The spirit was first distilled on June 7th, 1951 in the two ex-sherry casks and matured, building layers of depth and complexity for six decades. Richard Paterson, Master Distiller at Dalmore had nurtured the whisky and only 3 bottles of this exist.

This Macallan spirit and its decanter are a celebration of the collaboration of masters from the fields of craftsmanship, crystal, whisky, and construction. Around three years ago the distillery underwent major construction and has been designed by internationally acclaimed architect Rogers Stirk Harbour. The facade of the distillery has been replicated on the crystal decanters by Lalique, the French glassmaker. Each decanter is encased in a bespoke presentation case inspired by the interiors of the newly renovated distillery. The spirit was distilled in the 1940s, during the Second World War and has matured for 72 years in oak casks. 600 bottles of this exquisite whisky were released in 2018 and were sold out almost immediately.

This Glenfiddich 50 Year Old is considered as the finest produce from the Scottish distillery. Drawn from two casks, the whisky was matured for 50 years in the darkness and chill of the Scottish warehouse. For six months before bottling, whisky from both the barrels were mixed and kept in an American oak barrel to create a unique taste. Released in 2009, there are 500 bottles and 50 bottles are released each year. The bottle are made by the hand-blown glass technique, are numbered in wax and comes in a hand-stitched, black leather case.

Japan’s oldest whisky producing company Suntory is well known for making good quality whisky. Most whisky experts consider 35 Year Old Blended Whisky as one of its finest. 150 bottles The limited-edition whisky was released in 2017 and only 150 bottles are available. The launch was to celebrate 400 years of Japan Porcelain. This also the reason teh bottle of this belneded whisky is made of porcelain. The blue illustration on the ceramic decanter signifies wealth, long life and happiness. The handmade Arita ceramic bottle that comes in a wooden box is so popular amongst the collectors that the bottles have even been auctioned.

A collector’s item, this whisky comes in a hand-blown Dartington crystal decanter and only 106 bottles are available. Matured for over 52 years, the last 14 years were spent fully finishing in a single oak cask to create a nice blend. The spirit is known for the strong aroma it emanates—that of ripe plums, toffee apples, dark chocolate-covered hazelnuts and a crown of sweet aromatic oak. It has a taste of sweet orange marmalade with hints of ginger, scented cloves and ripe pears.
