Six months into the pandemic-hit global entertainment industry, MTV Video Music Awards 2020 marks the first biggest awards event that happened in the presence of a live audience.
Music performances by BTS, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, Lewis Capaldi and The Weeknd took place at different locations in New York. While some celebrities chose to pre-record their presentations, some strutted the red carpet without any audience on the day of the awards itself.
