Westin Hotels & Resorts, part of Marriott group of hotels, a few days ago opened The Westin Goa. Located near Anjuna beach, the new hotel boasts 171 spacious guestrooms and suites, as well as deluxe patio rooms where guests can relax over a dip in the outdoor pool that’s accessible directly from the rooms. The guests can enjoy delectables from the Market, an all-day dining restaurant that offers a variety of healthy food options with live stations serving local and global favourites; Drift, the poolside bar and restaurant with a sunset deck, is a place to relax and unwind over cocktails and live music; Haven, guided by the principles of biophilic design, is a lobby bar that serves signature cocktails inspired by the spirit of Goa; and Anjuna Coffee and Co., a deli and patisserie, in the atrium lobby serves freshly brewed coffee, wholesome delights like sandwiches and pastries and refreshing juices. Located near the popular Anjuna beach, guests can ride along the stunning coastline on an e-bike or be part of a guided group run along a 5km trail around the neighbourhood.

The Hilton Hotels & Resorts in November opened the Hilton Goa Resort, which makes it the hotel group’s third property in the beach state. The newly opened resort is located atop the scenic, terraced slopes of Saipem Hills, overlooking the Nerul river. The chic full-service resort is 34 kms from the Goa International Airport and 10 minutes away from the popular Candolim and Calangute beaches. The property offers three food and beverage options: @Saipe, a river facing all-day dining restaurant offers cuisines with a modern twist, Doce, a coffee lounge that serves assorted artisanal coffees, sweet treats, bakes and brews; Coco, a lounge and bar serving Mediterranean-inspired menu, where guests can unwind and enjoy the delectables. @YourBalcony curates experiences such as wine tasting, yoga, BBQ, cocktail making and culinary masterclasses for the guests. People looking for adventure, the resort offers bicycle trails, underwater escapades and luxury cruises along the backwaters of Goa.

Located right next to the premises of Cidade de Goa, which is part of The Indian Hotels Company Limited’s Taj SeleQtion portfolio, the Taj Resort & Convention Centre, Goa was opened in February 2020. Located on a forested hillside, the 299-room property provides a stunning view of the Arabian Sea. Located just 10 minutes away from Panjim, it has BLD, a multi-cuisine restaurant; The Banyan, the resort’s ‘Eat-Bar; that takes its name from a 200-year-old banyan tree in the resort; C2C, a speciality restaurant offers coastal cuisine from around the world and sweeping views of the waters; and a 25 m lap pool. The highlight of the hotel is its convention centre that has 1,200 sq m pillarless hall, six breakaway spaces, an exclusive entrance and ample recreational options.
