This installation blends the vibrant stories and designs of Hermès with the rich artistic tradition of Gond art from Madhya Pradesh. The metal facade shimmers with colors reflecting Indian craftsmanship, mirroring the iconic Hermès orange alongside deep peacock blues reminiscent of Holi’s vibrant pigment throws. This new boutique, designed by Parisian firm RDAI, is a testament to craftsmanship and a celebration of India’s cultural heritage. Stepping inside, the men’s and women’s sections boast walls adorned with a locally hand-embroidered fabric. Its deep yellow motifs, resembling both bustling city streets and a field of marigolds, add another layer of artistic tribute to India’s vibrant spirit.
