Inside Qatar Airways’ new Qsuite Next Gen Business Class

Let’s be honest, when it comes to luxury in the skies, few airlines do it quite like Qatar Airways. But just when you thought they’d reached the peak of premium travel, they’ve gone and raised the bar again. Say hello to Qatar Airways’ new Qsuite Next Gen business class. So, what’s all the buzz about? We had a chance to take a closer look, and trust us, it isn’t your regular business class cabin.

The first thing you’ll notice when stepping into Qatar Airways’ Qsuite Next Gen Business Class is how sleek and modern everything feels. The airline has teamed up with some of the world’s leading designers to create a space that balances elegance with function. Think soft lighting, soothing tones, and spacious suites that offer complete privacy. Each suite is designed with sliding doors, giving passengers their own little cocoon away from the hustle and bustle of the cabin. It’s quiet, it’s comfortable, and it’s surprisingly spacious for a plane seat, almost like having your own mini hotel room 35,000 feet in the air.

This year, the world’s best business class Qatar Airways’ Qsuite is only getting better with the Qsuite Next Gen Business Class. During the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai Qatar Airways brought its latest luxury offering for visitors to experience, the Qsuite Next Gen Business Class.

From ambient lighting to privacy controls to the ‘Make My Bed’ button for the 5-star Qatar Airways turn-down service, the airline is again setting the industry’s benchmark for travel innovation and business class experiences. Through the design of Qsuite Next Gen that features fully customisable Quad Suites creating the largest social space in the sky for groups of four and window aisle Companion Suites.  All suites have 4K OLED manoeuvrable in-flight entertainment screens that can be moved to connect the spacious and private suites. The upgrade includes companion suites for window seats; taller, digitally controlled dividers for better privacy; and of course, lie-flat beds and double bed configurations with a “make my bed” button for a five-star turndown service. Pretty suite, if you ask us!

One of the highlights of Qatar Airways’ new Business Class is, without a doubt, the seat itself. It reclines into a fully lie-flat bed, perfect for a good night’s sleep on a long-haul flight. Add to that crisp white bedding, plush pillows, and a soft quilt, and you’re in for some of the best in-flight rest you’ll ever have. And then there’s the amenity kit. Think Diptyque skincare (yes, really), cosy pyjamas by The White Company, noise-cancelling headphones, and a pair of comfy slippers.

And when it comes to food, it’s nothing like the usual aairplane meals. On Qatar Airways’ new Next Gen Business Class, it feels more like dining at a fancy restaurant than being up in the sky. You’ve also got loads of options, including fine wines, bubbly, mocktails, and even matcha lattes. It’s all about feeling pampered, even before take-off.
