Whether it’s fashion, films or music there is never a time Jennifer Lopez disappoints. If you (just like us) are a fan of JLO, you might be happy to know that one of her mansions is now on the market.
Recently, the star listed her massive Bel-Air spread on the market for a jaw-dropping $42.5 million. According to sources, it was the mansion she planned to live in with Ben Affleck and her children after renovation. The nine-bedroom mansion is spread across 7.8 acres in Los Angeles. Being minutes away from the famed Bel-Air hotel, the 2,817-square-foot retreat is tucked away in a gated property. Lopez bought the house seven years ago in 2016 for $28 million.
The main house is 12,000 square feet with nine bedrooms and 13 bathrooms. There’s also an infinity pool, a 30-seat movie theatre, a well-equipped gym, a guest house, an outdoor space that seats 100 people, a putting green, and a guest cottage. But the icing on the cake is the large lake with its own sandy beach.
The residence was originally built by architect Samuel Marx and takes inspiration from European design with textured stone, brick and reclaimed wood. However, the interiors have more of a modern farmhouse feel. The colour palette is defined by tones of creamy whites, while exposed ceiling beams, steel windows and rustic accents add to the beauty. On the main level, you’ll find a family room and living area with its own bar and fireplace. There’s also a formal dining room, in addition to a chef’s kitchen with a built-in breakfast area and swanky chandelier. The backyard creates a farmhouse vibe with the presence of a fire pit and pavilion.
The primary suite of the Jennifer Lopez Bel Air home is nothing short of spectacular and is located in a separate wing. With its own library, his and hers dressing rooms, a bathroom and a private landscaped terrace, it blows us away.
The three-story space is complete with steel doors and French windows that open to multiple terraces, which overlook the leafy grounds complete with grassy lawns and a stream.
