The Louis Vuitton × Murakami, is a joyful collection and re-edition that reimagines and updates the original collection. The works that the artist created for the original collaboration, initiated by the House’s then Artistic Director, Marc Jacobs – including a kaleidoscopic reinterpretation of the iconic Louis Vuitton Monogram pattern – are now celebrated and featured across a wide-ranging assortment of the House’s most renowned and coveted women’s leather goods and accessories. Iconic City Bags, silk squares and scarves, sunglasses, fashion jewellery, shoes and perfumes are a part of the collection.
The collection features the vibrant Monogram Multicolore in 33 striking shades across iconic City Bags like the Keepall, Coussin, Dauphine, OnTheGo, and Speedy, as well as belts, wallets, espadrilles, and a Rolling Trunk. Highlights also include the playful LV Hands logo on Alma BB bags and silk scarves, the Superflat Panda on sneakers and skateboards, and the Superflat Garden’s smiley flowers on Attrape-Rêves perfume bottles. Other standouts are Cherry Blossom motifs on Papillon bags and platform sandals, and an extended range of beautifully crafted Capucines bags and Courrier Lozine trunks, making it a playful and fun collection.
