The Italian marque announced on Wednesday, April 5, that their very last Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae Coupé will be auctioned off at RM Sotheby’s later this month. Adding to the excitement, the winning bidder will also receive a one-of tier NFT (rarest of the rare) created in collaboration with two of the most iconic creators of our time, contemporary artists Krista Kim and DJ Steve Aoki.

Calling it their ‘Ultimate’ drop, this is the world’s first supercar one-of tier NFT, marking Lamborghini’s shift into the digital era.

Calling on the experts, Lamborghini collaborated with Krista Kim and Steve Aoki to create the visual design for the Aventador NFT. Krista Kim is creating the visual artwork for the NFT. It will feature her infamous Mars House and her signature gradient work. Her gradients will also appear in the bespoke customisation of the physical Lamborghini Aventador Coupé, through Lamborghini’s customisation program called the Ad Personam program.

“This Aventador is a legend, it is the first physical-digital supercar! When higher states of consciousness meet leading-edge technology and design, we see elevated beauty on another level. In my Lamborghini NFT dream, I envision meditating in front of a sublime Mars sunset with Steve, as he transforms the engine sound into a meditative vibe. I couldn’t be more excited to bring this vision to life in the physical car and NFT,” said Kim in a statement released to the press.
Steve Aoki on the other hand, will provide the custom-developed track for the NFT; an exclusive soundtrack inspired by the last Aventador for the physical car. He will also consult on the design of the NFT as well as the physical car customization.

“I’m honored to be partnering with Lamborghini and Krista Kim on this historic project! The drop signifies the ultimate intersection—where the physical world, digital art and music come together as one,” Aoki exclaimed in a statement. “Every design element of this car is purposeful. It truly has its own story, and therefore I wanted my music track to reflect its soulful energy—the vibe, the spirit and the power.”
World’s first luxury automobile NFT
The drop is the world’s first NFT ever to be auctioned with a physical super sports car. Lamborghini, Krista Kim, and Steve Aoki, all leaders in their own fields, will redefine the supercar and NFT space and bridge the gap between the physical and virtual world.

Although no pre-sale estimate has been listed, one can easily take a guess. Given the 500,000 USD price tag of the Aventador LP 780-4 Ultimae Coupé and the value of Kim’s previous work, one can only expect a minimum seven-figure value.
There will only be one collector who will own the ultimate 1:1 NFT Lamborghini collectable that can be shared across generations to come. As part of the NFT, the collector will have access to several VIP utilities, some of which include exclusive virtual previews of future limited edition Lamborghini models, a private tour of the Museo Lamborghini, and a virtual “Meet and Greet” with Steve Aoki and Krista Kim, in addition to other VIP benefits.

The Aventador Ultimae is a fitting goodbye to one of Lamborghini’s most successful models. It has a reworked body that’s more aerodynamic and is powered by the brand’s final naturally aspirated V-12. The 6.5-litre mill is mated to the marque’s Independent Shifting Rod seven-speed transmission and generates a maximum of 769hp and 531 ft-lbs of torque. The coupé can rocket from zero to 62 mph in 2.8 seconds and has a blistering top speed of 220.5mph.
