It all started when an Aussie teacher Danielle Askew dared her friend to dress up when she went to take out trash as she was excited to go out of the house, which she did. Askew, too, followed suit by dressing up as the character Elsa from the movie Frozen.Β

She created a Facebook group called Bin Isolation Outing, on which she encouraged her friends and neighbours to post their images of taking the trash out all decked up. The group now has 999K members and the #BinIsolationOuting challenge has gone viral.

Closer home, we don’t have to take our trash outside, but that doesn’t mean we can’t have some fun! For most Indians under the lockdown, the β€˜outing’ is to the local grocery store, which as per the Millenials is the new Tinder! So maybe next time, when you head out to buy groceries with those chic cloth bags, dress up a little?
