Colours, patterns and the collection
Visitors can expect to take away a wide range of products coded in refreshing colors, alluring patterns like stripes, florals and authentic tribal prints. A combination of teal, antique brass and deep mahogany finds a space in-store, which for the brand are the trending colours.
Their new dining collection flaunts neutral hues, underlined with artsy textures, creating a space of leisure. The section of Spring lifestyle exhibits a palette toned with olives, greens, ambers and pinks, whereas the bedding and home furnishing section plays with a multicolour scheme, drawing its appeal from a medley of traditional, aesthetic, ethnic and modern inspirations. Balancing the aesthetics very finely, they also infuse the universally applicable black marble and brass accents in furniture, upholstery and decorative items.
The designer brand’s cushions from the Spring Summer ’19 collection take art inspiration from everyday life and perceptions of everyday beauty globally. A striking range of themes Mojave, Amazonia, Primrose, Stargazer and Naturalist reinterpret the easy flowing geometry of indigenous craft; the romance of a bold sunset, or the magnetic enigma of botanical skeletal forms.
The store also houses an exquisite collection of authentic, South and South-West Indian antique collectibles. The ceremonial masks or chariot panels are sourced by Rahul Puri, and have now transitioned into single décor pieces.
Sarita Handa also collaborated with Akanksha Sharma, a young designer, also known as Acky15, to produce a line of graphics and designs for stationary utilities. Matching the penchant for organic designs, the store also displays an exciting assortment of lush, green succulents.
Modern, traditional and transitional designer rugs by Cocoon Fine Rugs can also be found in-store.
