Aman is all set to launch its second urban property, in the city of New York, after Aman Tokyo. Scheduled to open this year, the property located on the Manhattan island captures the pulse of the city in signature Aman style.
The upcoming property will be housed in the iconic Crown building, at the crossroads of the Fifth Avenue and 57th Street, overlooking the Central Park.

Crown building, formerly the first home of the Museum of Modern Art, is one of the finest examples of neo-classical Beaux-Arts architecture and one of the few remaining buildings of old New York, offering guests and owners a stay in the understated, elegant and architecturally designed environment. “We are honoured to be the stewards of an exciting new chapter in this iconic building’s legacy,” says Vladislav Doronin, Chairman and CEO of Aman, in a press statement.

Occupying the entire Crown Building, barring the retail space on the first three floors, Aman New York will comprise of 83 elegant guest rooms and suites, three principal social dining venues, a comprehensive spa, 22 private Aman Residences on the upper floors, plus an extensive, one-of-a-kind, five-storey, park-view Penthouse at the building’s apex.
There will also be an Aman Members’ Club, and Aman New York will house facilities exclusively for the use of its members.
