When it comes to luxury cars, Mercedes Benz is one of the best. Foraying into the world of both sporty and luxury cars, Merc has always displayed impeccable style with every new release. This year Mercedes AMG (the high-performance subsidiary of Mercedes-Benz AG) makes a new entry into the Mercedes Vision line with the Vision AMG, a performance-based EV. The Mercedes Vision AMG concept previews AMG’s first stand-alone electric car, coming in 2025. This AMG model is currently under development with the first production car to arrive in 2025.

Focusing on the model’s exterior appearance and technical details, the idea is to give the consumer an insight into the future by previewing an upcoming electric performance car. Giving customers an insight into what the future holds, the design is futuristic and sleek.

“The Vision AMG shows in spectacular style what electrification could look like at Mercedes-AMG while staying true to the brand aesthetic,” says Philipp Schiemer CEO of Mercedes-AMG. “The study’s extreme proportions create fascination and passion for performance – that’s what AMG is all about.”
The Vision AMG rides on the dedicated AMG.EA architecture. With an F1 inspired look, the car features a long wheelbase with short overhangs and a low-slung body. Adding to the design are the headlights in the shape of Mercedes-Benz’s iconic star logo. Further, the Vision AMG’s side windows and rear glass are painted in the same Alubeam silver as the body of the car.
